Part B: District and Site Achievement Goals

District World’s Best Workforce Goals

School Readiness:

100% of children will be screened with Early Screening Inventory-Revised (ESI-R) by September 30  of their Kindergarten year or provide record of Early Childhood Screening by September 30 of their Kindergarten year.

100% of students identified by the ESI-R in need of support will receive services in Small Wonders through School Readiness, or Early Learning Scholarships by June, 2017.

100% of students entering Kindergarten will be assessed using the locally-designed Kindergarten Assessment Survey.

All Students in Third Grade Achieving Grade Level Literacy:

85% of all students in third grade will score in the  proficient range as measured by the MCA-III reading assessment in Spring of 2016.

Close the Achievement Gap Among All Groups:

Reading: ISD will decrease the achievement gap from 32.0% to 16% as measured by the MCA III Reading Assessment by June, 2017.

Math: ISD 194 will decrease the achievement gap in math from 31.0% to 15.5% as measured by the MCA III math assessment by implementing research-based math strategies across all curricular areas by June 2017.

All Students Career and College Ready

100% of the students will complete their Career Portfolio with identified and submitted post-secondary career or college plans for 2016-2017

90% of students will reach benchmark in the core areas of the ACT by June, 2016

All Students Graduate

100% of all students graduating in either a 4 year high school program and/or an 18-21 transition program.

Lakeville North High School Goals

Reading Goal: LNHS will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading as measured by the 2016 MCA-III from 68.7%.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: LNHS will increase the percent of black students  proficient in reading as measured by the 2016 MCA-III from 33.3%.

Math Goal:  LNHS will increase the percent of all students proficient in math as measured by the 2016 MCA-III from 60.8%.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: LNHS will increase the percent of black students  proficient in math as measured by the 2016 MCA-III from 16.7%.

 

Lakeville South High School Goals

Reading Goal: On the 2015 MCA’s, 70.5% of students were proficient. On the 2016 MCA’s, 78.18% of students will be proficient.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: On the 2015 MCA’s 45.7% of FRP students were proficient. On the 2016 MCA’s, 59.7% of FRP students will be proficient

Math Goal: On the 2015 Math MCA’s, 61.3% of students were proficient. On the 2016 Math MCA’s, 72.3% of students will be proficient.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: On the 2015 Math MCA’s, 24.6% of FRP students were proficient. On the 2016 Math MCA’s, 48.5% of FRP students will be proficient.

 

Century Middle School Goals

Reading Goal: CMS staff will increase the percentage of all students deemed proficient on the 2015-16 Reading MCA/MTAS by 4.65%, to 80.65%, as compared to the 2014-15 MCA/MTAS Reading proficiency rate of all students.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: CMS staff will increase the percentage of students in the FRP subgroup deemed proficient on the 2015-16 Reading MCA/MTAS by 9.75% to 66.85% as compared to the 2014-15 MCA/MTAS Reading proficiency rate of students in the FRP subgroup.

Math Goal: CMS staff will increase the percentage of all students deemed proficient on the 2015-16 MCA/MTAS in Math by 2.53%, from 78.7% to 81.23% as compared to the 2014-15 MCA/MTAS Math proficiency rate of all students.  

Math Achievement Gap Goal:  CMS staff will increase the percentage of students in the FRP subgroup deemed proficient on the 2015-16 MCA/MTAS Math by 13%, from 46% to 59% as compared to the 2014-15 MCA/MTAS Math proficiency rate of students in the FRP subgroup.

 

Kenwood Trail Middle School Goals

Reading Goal: KTMS will increase its percent of all students proficient on the MCA-III Reading test by at least 5.63% (to reach 77.13%) as measured by the spring 2016 MCA-III Reading test.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: KTMS will increase its percent of Hispanic students proficient on the MCA-III Reading test by at 15.83% (to reach 53.73%) as measured by the spring 2016 MCA-III Reading test.

Math Goal: KTMS will increase its percent of all students proficient on the MCA-III Mathematics test by at least 3.48% (to reach 78.58% proficient) as measured by the spring 2016 MCA-III Mathematics test.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: KTMS will increase its percent of Hispanic students proficient on the MCA-III Mathematics test by at least 6.9% (to reach 56.9%) as measured by the spring 2016 MCA-III Mathematics test.

 

McGuire Middle School Goals

Reading Goal: In 2014-2015, 75.6% of McGuire Middle School students were proficient on the MCA-III reading exam.  McGuire Middle School student and staff will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading (as measured by the MCA-III) by at least 4.88% in each of the subsequent years to reach 100% proficiency in 2020.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: In 2014-2015, 11.1% of McGuire Middle School LEP  students were proficient on the MCA-III reading exam.  McGuire Middle School LEP students and staff will increase the percent of all students proficiency in reading (as measured by the MCA-III) by at least 25.6% in each of the subsequent years to reach 100% proficiency in 2020.

Math Goal: In 2014-2015, 76.8% of McGuire Middle School students were proficient on the MCA-III mathematics exam.  McGuire Middle School student and staff will increase the percent of all students proficient in math (as measured by the MCA-III) by at least 4.64% in each of the subsequent years to reach 100% proficiency in 2020.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: In 2014-2015, 38.5% of McGuire Middle School Black (non-hispanic) students were proficient on the MCA-III mathematics exam.  McGuire Middle School students and staff will increase the percent of students proficient in math (as measured by the MCA-III) by at least 13.5% in each of the subsequent years to reach 100% proficiency in 2020.

 

Christina Huddleston Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: By the end of the 2016 school year, the percentage of CHE students who meet proficiency on all the Minnesota Reading Accountability Tests  will increase from 62.3% in 2015 to 66.5%.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: By the end of the 2016 school year, the percentage of Free/Reduced Lunch CHE students who meet proficiency on all the Minnesota Reading Accountability Tests will increase from 38% in 2015 to 42%.

Math Goal: By the end of the 2016 school year, the percentage of CHE students who meet proficiency on all the Minnesota Math Accountability Tests  will increase from 65.3% in 2015 to 69%.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: By the end of the 2016 school year, the percentage of Free/Reduced Lunch CHE students who meet proficiency on all the Minnesota Math Accountability Tests will increase from 38.8% in 2015 to 42%.

 

Cherry View Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: By June 2016, 83% of all students will attain proficiency on the reading MCA assessment.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: By June 2016, 60% of all students receiving special education services will attain proficiency on the reading MCA  assessment.

Math Goal: By the spring of 2016, 83% of all students will attain proficiency on the math MCA assessment or comparable assessment.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: By the spring of 2016, 60% of Special Education students will attain proficiency on the math MCA assessment or comparable assessment.

 

Eastview Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: Using the  Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment as our measurement tool; Eastview Elementary School will increase our overall proficiency on the reading assessment from 2015 to 2016 by 2.63 percentage points (from 86.4% to 89% proficient) as measured by the 2016 MCA Accountability Assessments.  

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: Students identified as Asian / Pacific Islander will increase our overall proficiency on the reading assessment by 9.25 percentage points (from  72.4% to 81.7% proficient) as measured by the 2016 MCA Accountability Assessments. 

Math Goal:Using the  Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment as our measurement tool; Eastview Elementary School will increase our overall proficiency on the math assessment from 2015 to 2016 by 2.63 percentage points (from 86.4% to 89% proficient) as measured by the 2016 MCA Accountability Assessments.  

Math Achievement Gap Goal: Students identified as Asian / Pacific Islander will increase by 7.28 percentage points from 2015 to 2016.  Asian / Pacific Islanders will move from 72.4% to 79.7% proficient. This group was identified because of the significant decrease in overall proficiency from 2015-16 with this subgroup.

 

JFK Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal:The percentage of all students at JFK that demonstrate proficiency on the MCA Reading will increase from 75.6% in Spring 2015 to 78% in Spring 2016.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: The percentage of SpEd at JFK that demonstrate proficiency on the MCA Reading will increase from 60.8% in Spring 2015 to 63% in Spring 2016

Math Goal:The percentage of all students at JFK that demonstrate proficiency on the MCA Math will increase from 74.2% in Spring 2015 to  77% in Spring of 2016.

Math Achievement Gap Goal:The percentage of SpEd students at JFK that demonstrate proficiency on the MCA Math will  increase from 58.8% in Spring 2015 to 61.8% in Spring of 2016.

 

Lake Marion Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: In 2014-15, 86.1% of students were proficient in reading. Lake Marion Elementary will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading (as measured by the MCA-­III) to 89.4% for the 2015-16 school year.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: Increase FRP achievement on MCA III from a level of 70.4% in 2014-15 to 81.5% by the 2015-16 MCA III testing window.

Math Goal: In 2014-15, 91.4% of students were proficient in mathematics. Lake Marion Elementary will increase the percent of all students proficient in math (as measured by the MCA-­III) to 93.8% for the 2015-16 school year.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: Increase FRP achievement on MCA-III from a level of 77.5% in 2014-15 to 84.3% (a 6.8% increase) by the 2015-16 MCA III testing window.

 

Lakeview Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: 82.8% of LVE scholars met or exceeded expectations on the 2015 MCA assessment. By the spring of 2016, 88% of our LVE scholars will meet or exceed expectations on the 2016 MCA assessments.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: 69.6% of LVE scholars with an IEP met or exceeded expectations on the 2015 MCA assessment. By the spring of 2016, 76% of our LVE scholars with an IEP will meet or exceed expectations on the 2016 MCA assessments.

Math Goal:81.8% of LVE scholars met or exceeded expectations on the 2015 MCA assessment. By the spring of 2016, 87% of our LVE scholars will meet or exceed expectations on the 2016 MCA assessments.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: 73.2% of LVE scholars with an IEP met or exceeded expectations on the 2015 MCA assessment. By the spring of 2016, 76.5% of our LVE scholars of our LVE scholars with an IEP will meet or exceed expectations on the 2016 MCA assessments.

 

Oak Hills Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: We will increase our overall reading proficiency in grades 3-5 to 84% by the end of the 2015-16 school year measured by the MCA III assessment.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal:We will increase our LEP reading proficiency in grades 3-5 to 35% by the end of the 2015-16 school year measured by the MCA III assessment.

Math Goal:We will increase our overall math proficiency in grades 3-5 to 84% by the end of the 2015-16 school year measured by the MCA III assessment.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: We will increase our LEP math proficiency in grades 3-5 to 32% by the end of the 2015-16 school year measured by the MCA III assessment.

 

Orchard Lake Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: OLE will increase the number of students that meet or exceed expectations in reading from 71% to 78%% by the end of the 2015-2016 school year, as measured on the MCA tests.

Reading Achievement Gap Goal: OLE will increase the number of Hispanic students that meet or exceed expectations in reading  from 38% to  55% by the end of the 2015-16 school year , as measured on the MCA tests.

Math Goal: OLE will increase the number of students that meet or exceed expectations in math from 64% to 71% by the end of the 2015-2016 school year, as measured on the MCA tests.

Math Achievement Gap Goal: OLE will increase the number of  Hispanic  students that meet or exceed expectations in math from 25% to 42% by the end of the 2015-16 school year, as measured on the MCA tests.
