District World’s Best Workforce Goals

School Readiness:

  • Goal 1a. In 2016-17, Lakeville Area Public Schools Early Childhood program will increase the number of children screened by their 4th birthday to 58% by July 2017.
    • Result:
      • We did not meet our goal. The percentage of children screened at 3 remained the same; at 56%. Although we did increase the number 4-year-olds screened and reduced the number of 5-year-olds

  • Goal 1b. Ninety-five percent of three to five year old children who participate in Lakeville Area Public Schools early childhood programs during the 2016-17 school year will receive early childhood screening or provide record of screening by June 1, 2017.
    • Result: Ninety-two percent of students who participated in our early childhood programs during the 2016-17 school year received early childhood screening or provided record of early childhood screening by June 1, 2017.

All Students in Third Grade Achieving Grade Level Literacy:

  • Goal 2: Eighty-five percent of all students in third grade will score in the proficient range as measured by the MCA-III Reading Assessment in the spring of 2017.
    • Result: 78.5 percent of all students in third grade scored in the proficient range as measured by the MCA-III reading assessment in Spring of 2017, compared to 56.5 percent statewide.

Close the Achievement Gap Among All Groups:

  • Goal 3a. Lakeville Area Public Schools will decrease the achievement gap by 4.68% as measured by the MCA III Reading Assessment by June 2017.
    • Result: ISD 194 increased the achievement gap from 32.0% to 32.2% as measured by the MCA III Reading Assessment.
  • Goal 3b. Lakeville Area Public Schools will decrease the achievement gap in math by 4.12% as measured by the MCA III math assessment by June 2017.
    • Result: ISD 194 decreased the achievement gap from 32.0% to 28% as measured by the MCA III Reading Assessment.

All Students Career and College Ready

  • Goal 4a. Eighty percent of grade 8 students will score proficient as measured by the MCA III math assessment by June 2017.
    • Result: 78.6 percent of grade 8 students scored proficient as measured by the MCA III math assessment by June 2017.
  • Goal 4b.  Students will reach a composite score of 23 on the ACT by June 2017.
    • Result: Students reached a composite score of 23 on the ACT by June 2017.

All Students Graduate

  • Goal 5a.  One hundred percent of students will graduate with their 4-year cohort.
    • Result: 92.5 percent of students graduated with their 4-year cohort.

Lakeville North High School Goals

Reading Goal: LNHS will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 69.2% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  LNHS will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 60.0% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Lakeville South High School Goals

Reading Goal: LSHS will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 73.6% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  LSHS will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 61.9% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Century Middle School Goals

Reading Goal: CMS will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 78.3% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  CMS will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 79.1% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Kenwood Trail Middle School Goals

Reading Goal: KTMS will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 71.9% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  KTMS will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 73.7% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

McGuire Middle School Goals

Reading Goal: MMS will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 79.8% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  MMS will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 78.3% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Christina Huddleston Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: CHE will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 63.3% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  CHE will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 68.8% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Cherry View Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: CVE will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 79.2% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  CVE will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 80.6% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Eastview Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: EVE will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 88.2% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  EVE will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 87.9% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

JFK Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: JFK will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 66.5% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  JFK will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 74.2% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Lake Marion Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: LME will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 87.7% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  LME will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 88.7% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Lakeview Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: LVE will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 80.9% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  LVE will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 81.8% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Oak Hills Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: OHE will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 78.8% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  OHE will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 85.8% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Impact Academy at Orchard Lake Elementary School Goals

Reading Goal: IA will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 73.5% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  IA will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 68.5% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

LinK12-Lakeville Goals

Reading Goal: LinK12 will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 52% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  LinK12 will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 50% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

 

Area Learning Center

Reading Goal: ALC will increase the percent of all students proficient in reading to 44.4% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.

Math Goal:  ALC will increase the percent of all students proficient in math to 9.1% as measured by the 2016 MCA-III.
