Summer School

Welcome to Pathways (Lakeville Area Learning Center) Summer Program

The dates for Summer School are July 9 through August 9 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Classes will be held at Lakeville North High School, Monday through Thursday.  All students are expected to be present from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us at 952-232-2080.

Students currently in grades 10-12 are able to make up missed credits in English, math, science, and social studies. 

For current 8th graders, we will offer a Math/Reading Skills class to develop skills for the 9th grade year. The following areas will be covered in Math: Algebra Review, Factoring Review, Foiling Review, Solving Word Problems, a lot of Equation Review, Basic Math Problem Practice, Math Vocabulary, and understanding Math Formulas and how to use them. The following areas will be covered in Reading: Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Grammar Review, Timed Reading Practice, Fiction and Non-Fiction, and the more you read the more you improve.  Students will need to put in a minimum of 24 hours of in-school time for each semester class that they do.  The rest of the hours will be done at home.

Registration Process

  • See your dean or counselor for a referral
  • Bring the referral to: Lakeville Area Learning Center, 20950 Howland Ave., Lakeville, MN 55044
  • 952-232-2080
  • Complete registration paperwork at Lakeville Area Learning Center
    • Please bring the following:
      • Parent or guardian (if under the age of 16)
      • Emergency contact information
      • Current email addresses
      • If driving, bring license plate number

If you are from another school district, we will also need a copy of your transcript, immunization records, and your State test scores.

Summer School Registration hours

You can register for summer school from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday until June 30.  If you or the student are unable to get here on these days or times, please give us a call.
