Deans’ Message

Welcome to McGuire Middle School!

Deans of Students work closely with students, parents, and teaching staff to nurture and sustain skills in all developmental areas. We know that students whose physical, social and emotional needs are met are able to focus on and succeed in their academics. We are available to support students, individually and in groups, as they navigate school and the many daily decisions required of them. We encourage you to contact us with your families’ questions, concerns, or needs at anytime.

Welcome to McGuire! I am honored to be able to work here. I enjoy getting to know all the students and working closely with the wonderful McGuire Teaching staff to meet the needs of our students. I received my Undergraduate degree from Concordia College, Moorhead and my Masters and Administrative degrees from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND. My husband and I have twins – a boy and a girl – and enjoy spending time at our lake home. Please do not hesitate to contact me at anytime to help your son or daughter succeed at school. Together we will have a fantastic school year!

I am very happy to be working at McGuire Middle School! I graduated from Augsburg College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and completed my Master of Arts and my Administrative License through Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. This will be my third year working for Lakeville Public Schools and I feel very fortunate to be part of such a dynamic district. When I am not working, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. My wife and I have three children and enjoy spending time together cooking, going to the North Shore, and exploring the many great restaurants in Minneapolis and St. Paul
