Breezy Point, Minnesota – An award program to honor and celebrate secondary school principals for the incredible work they do in service to students and their educational communities was held June 20 as part of the four-day Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) annual conference.
MASSP selected Century Middle School Principal Jason Bakke as Minnesota Assistant Principal of the Year for the 2017-18 school year.
As Assistant Principal of the Year, Bakke represents the talented and dedicated assistant principals working in schools across the state. Bakke will be honored by representing Minnesota during the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) recognition event at the organization’s annual convention in July.
Bakke was previously honored as the Capitol Division Assistant Principal of the Year for 2016-17. After serving as interim principal for Century Middle School since January, Bakke was selected as principal of Century Middle School in May.
