Seminar about parenting and working with children in a digital age
Lakeville Area Public Schools and Farmington School District have partnered together to provide important and beneficial seminars to area residents. The Speaking of Kids seminars empower parents, educators, and caregivers by providing information and ideas to enhance their relationships with children and to help them succeed.
The seminar, “Parenting & Working with Children in a Digital Age,” led by Jessica Wong, will provide advice about how to set healthy and productive boundaries around technology use at home with children.
The seminar will be held Monday, March 12 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Meadowview Elementary School Cafetorium, 6100 195th Street W. Farmington, MN. Registration information is available online or by calling (651) 460-3200. Free childcare is available by registration prior to the event. Free CEU’s are available with registration.
Jessica Wong is the regional business development director for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation. She provides resources and information for families and professionals needing treatment and recovery resources for adolescents and young adults across the country.
