Lakeville Area Public Schools Communications Systems
Lakeville Area Public Schools utilizes a variety of technology systems to communicate to our stakeholders.
Website: The purpose of the district and school websites is to inform current and prospective families of what we do and what we offer. The Communications Department has responsibility for the district, department and school websites. The primary goal is to provide an up-to-date, well-designed online presence (including websites, e-newsletters, social media, etc.) for the district and schools to use as a source of information and as powerful marketing tools. To achieve this, we have developed a support system for schools, departments and a consistent web-editing model at each school. For questions about the website, please contact Stephanie Kass at Stephanie.Kass@isd194.org.
Staff Intranet: The Staff Intranet is hosted on the District website and is a private network accessible to staff only through Google sign-on. The staff intranet site is for internal communication and provides a single location to access internal and external resources and documents. The staff intranet is secure and staff should log-in with their Google credentials to obtain access. The intranet is maintained by the Communications Department in partnership with department webmasters. For questions about the intranet, please contact Stephanie Kass at Stephanie.Kass@isd194.org.
Blackboard Connect: Blackboard Connect is the mass notification system used throughout Lakeville Area Public Schools that allows staff members to send messages and notifications quickly and efficiently. Those messages include emergency notifications, school event information, principal/school newsletters, community flyers and information on other school/district/student topics. The program allows the district to communicate with families via email, text or phone call. For questions about Blackboard Connect, please contact Stephanie Kass at Stephanie.Kass@isd194.org.
