Coordinator’s message

Jodi DanielsonWelcome to Lakeville Area Learning Center

At the Lakeville Area Learning Center (ALC), our students fill our classrooms and hallways with great energy! It is our mission to create an accepting and responsive environment with multiple learning avenues in order to help students become self-aware, contributing community members. Additionally, we strive to ensure all students are equipped to identify, pursue, and attain personal success. At the ALC, we have outstanding teachers and staff who care deeply about our students. Our teachers utilize technology and unique materials to personalize learning for our students.

We work to create a safe environment where courtesy and kindness prevail and where there is respect for differences among people, customs, and cultures. We believe that communication among parents, students, and teachers is critical in assuring student success. We will partner with families and students to ensure students have positive, successful educations with us.

We know that students with regular school attendance are more likely to be successful in school as well as in adult life. We believe that attendance is a joint responsibility between families, student, and school. We do everything we can to make being here a positive experience. Please contact us if your student is reluctant to come to school for any reason. If your student will be absent, you must call our attendance line at 952-232-2089 to notify us.

I am committed to ensuring our students received the personalized learning they need to become successful global citizens. Please do not hesitate to call me at 952-232-2090 or email me at to discuss any needs, questions, or ideas you have.
