Important COVID-19 related announcement about Summer Adventures & Wonder Zone Child Care
2020 Summer Wonder Zone and Summer Adventures have been canceled. Families will receive a separate communication regarding refunds. Families needing care will need to register under the new Summer Child Care program.

Summer Child Care (Age 3 – current Grade 5) will be offered for Pre-K (ages 3 to 6) children at the Crystal Lake Education Center and for School-Aged (current grades K-5) children at Cherry View, Christina Huddleston and Oak Hills Elementary Schools. This will be different from our previous Summer Wonder Zone and Summer Adventures programs, however will still provide quality care and enrichment opportunities. Summer Child Care Program Details:  

  • 6:30 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday (minimum of three days per week)
  • June 15-August 14, closed July 3 (minimum of four weeks registered) 

Registration: Opens online via Eleyo on May 23 at 6:00 am. Click here for Pre-K registration and here for K-5 registration. Summer registration will be open to all families, however priority registration will be given to Tier I, II and III Essential Workers. Tier I, II, III families will need to register by May 31 to receive priority registration. Registration will remain open until all spots are filled.

Wonder Zone is a child care program for preschool children 3 to 6 years of age (by September 1). The Wonder Zone program is part of Lakeville Area Schools Community Education and collaborates with Small Wonders Preschool to offer a full day of learning and fun. Wonder Zone focuses on social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth through enriching activities.

The Wonder Zone program is conveniently located at the Crystal Lake Education Center, and is available Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm (closed some holidays). Children participating in any of the Small Wonders Preschool programs can attend Wonder Zone. Wonder Zone is also open on most non­-preschool days, such as workshop days. Breakfast and an afternoon snack are provided each day. Parents can choose to purchase a hot lunch or a pack a nut free bag lunch from home.
