2020 Fall Program Updates

Lakeville Area Schools Community Education

2020-21 School Year Start Plan (Updated 8/14/20)

As always, the health and safety of our participants and staff is of the utmost importance. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please be aware that the Lakeville Area Schools Community Education Department activities, programs and services will look different this year.

We are working to adapt our programs to follow the most current Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) guidance. These include health screenings, frequent hand washing and hygiene standards, social distancing and small group sizes, extensive cleaning, and limits on visitors and observations. These strategies are being implemented to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 exposure in Community Education programs while continuing to provide you with the innovative and engaging programs you have come to expect. These strategies may change as new MDH and MDE guidance is received and if the level of community transmission increases to the point where programming must be adjusted. Please check back periodically for up-to-date information.
