Sensory Playground | Ages 3-10
This gymnastics program is specialized for children with learning and sensory disabilities. Our adaptive program is structured to provide your child with both proprioceptive and vestibular input. Students will have the option to work on many apparatuses in the gym: rings, bars, beams, tumble track, floor and vault. We will also have a variety of sensory toys and games for your child to enjoy. A parent, guardian or other responsible adult is required to attend with the student at no fee. Only registered students are allowed to participate in the class.

Adapted Swim Lessons | Ages 18 months-Adult
This class is for students 18 months through adult with mild special needs, including neurological, developmental, and cognitive, who will benefit from one on one instruction. Instructor will work with the parent/guardian to determine student goals that will meet a variety of sensory challenges including visual, auditory, physical and movement, all while learning swimming skills. See aquatics section for available dates, times and prices. All lessons held at McGuire Middle School.

Open Swim | All Ages
Love the water but don’t need swim lessons? Jump in the pool for open swim at McGuire Middle School Pool. Dates and time are listed here. McGuire Middle School Pool is handicap accessible.
**Pre-registration is required for open swim. Please review our COVID safety plan and aquatics updates including open swim guidelines upon registration.

Lakeville Community Education is happy to offer Fee Assistance to families who may need extra help paying for Enrichment programs and classes. Please review the information in the link below to see if you qualify and to apply for Fee Assistance.
Refunds & Transfers
The status of most classes and events is determined several days before a class start date.
Transfers may be made without a service fee five or more business days prior to the class start date. Transfers two to four business days prior to the start will incur a $5 service fee. Transfers will not be made one day prior to class start date.
A full refund minus a $5 service fee will be made if the request to withdraw is received five or more business days before a class start date. If a request to withdraw is received two to four business days before a class start date, a $10 service fee will be deducted. Beginning one business day before a class start date, refunds for withdraws will not be made. Full refunds are made if a class or event is cancelled. Refunds are unavailable for Small Wonders classes and events unless the class or event is cancelled.
Photo Opt Out
Lakeville Community Education frequently uses pictures of students and instructors for marketing and publications. If you do not wish to have your image used for any of these purposes, please complete the attached form and return to our offices.
Teach a Class
We are looking for teachers to teach adapted classes. Candidate must have a passion for working with youth with disabilities. Experience preferred, but not required.
