With students doing all of their learning from home during Distance Learning 2.0, understanding your educational technology and having access to our district’s technology support team will be more important than ever. This page will provide links to digital resources to help you and your student navigate your school-issued iPads and reach out to tech support in times of need.
Technical support available for district owned devices, software, and hotspots:
Submit a ticket to our Incident IQ ticketing system using our remote support wizard. A tech support specialist will communicate with you via email regarding your issue. All emails will come from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Support for Internet
Lakeville Area Schools has a limited number of wif-fi hotspots which will be provided for free and prioritized for families who qualify for educational benefits. If you need a reliable internet connection and you qualify for educational benefits (free and reduced price meals) please fill out this form and click “Request Hotspot.”
Families who do not qualify for free internet through the district can still receive assistance in applying for low-cost Internet solutions through Internet Service Providers.
Support for iPads
This school year, every K-12 student received an iPad to support learning in person and online. By providing the same device to all students, Lakeville Area Schools reduces the disparity in type, quality and capability of the devices students have access to, both in their classrooms and at home.
