Lakeville South Local Senior Scholarship is now open!

The Local Senior Scholarship Application is electronic.  Donor Scholarships require a supplemental application. These can be submitted electronically to or printed and brought into Student Services. All applications are due no later than 3pm March 12, 2021. LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Recipients will be notified by mail in April and will be presented their award during the Senior Awards in May.  Questions may be directed to Heather Allen at or 952.232.3330

Senior Baby Grad Ads are FREE THIS YEAR ONLY and are due by January 29, 2021. Although free this year, there are still only 250 spots available, so submit yours now!


This publication comes out when students are in session at LSHS as we navigate the information highway that 2020 has brought to all areas of our lives.  The Cougar Newsletter, sent out by LSHS Administration, was moved from quarterly to a more frequent publication while we continue to be sure important information is received by families on a timely basis with all that is going on with all the changes at school this year.  To add school related announcements, activity/ team accomplishments to this publication, or to subscribe to receive this mailing automatically, contact   If you previously subscribed and want to be removed from these mailings now, simply respond REMOVE.

The latest edition of SOUTHSIDE – The Southside is Lakeville South’s (MN) student-produced news magazine show. This episode includes stories on boys’ basketball, New Year resolutions, and distance learning.

Lakeville area students and their families still have the chance to hear from several experts about exploring opportunities beyond high school. Future 101 was a FREE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE for parents, guardians, and students at the high school level held on Monday, October 5th, but was also recorded.  Various subject matter experts will help you navigate and prepare for life after high school including: high school deans, 2 and 4-year college, military, skilled trade and financial planning professionals.  PLEASE CLICK HERE for LINK to access Future 101 content including presentations, handouts, and videos from the panel discussion and audio of the breakout sessions. The link is to a Google Drive folder with separate folders for each breakout session. This event is co-sponsored by the District and Lakeville Area Chamber of Commerce. DEANS PRESENTATION to STUDENTS: Shown in 4th hour during the week of Sept 21, 2020.  The presentation is for all grades. There is a part at the end for seniors.  Overall time is approx 15 minutes.


New families inquiring about enrollment - click on this link to be directed to the District Enrollment page.  AS OF 5/1/20 OPEN ENROLLMENT/INTRA DISTRICT TRANSFER TO LAKEVILLE AREA SCHOOLS IS CLOSED FOR THE 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR to any additional requests for Elementary School (grades K–5) and Middle School (grades 6-8) placements. There are limited High School (grades 9-12) spots available, and school building placement is not guaranteed.
