Congratulations to Brianne Brewster of Lakeville South and Regan Smith of Lakeville North for being named their high schools’ Athena Award winners! The Athena Award honors one outstanding female senior student-athlete from each high school for their athletic achievements.

Brewster is a cross country, track and field and nordic skiing all-star. She has five All State awards in cross country and one All State award in nordic skiing. She’s also the Hamline Elite Meet school record holder in track and field. In addition to her athletic achievements, Brewster is an All State Academic and is dedicated to volunteering in the community. Starting in the fall, Brewster will attend the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business and will run cross country and track and field.
