Distance Learning Opt-In Deadline Extended

Distance Learning Options

In accordance with the Minnesota Safe Learning plan, Lakeville Area Schools will be starting the school year in a hybrid learning model and will also be offering a distance learning model through LinK12 Lakeville for any family who wishes to participate. Lakeville Area Schools is lucky to already have a free, comprehensive, state-certified online school called LinK12 Lakeville, which has been part of our district since 2013.

We know choosing a learning model is a big decision for your family to make. Please note that we have extended the registration deadline to Friday, August 21. If you know distance learning is the right option for your student, we ask that you please register as soon as you can. This will help ensure the district can prepare our staff to accommodate new enrollments in LinK12 Lakeville.

If you have already registered with LinK12 Lakeville, you do not need to complete the online registration form.

Please review these Frequently Asked Questions about utilizing LinK12 Lakeville for distance learning. This document has been updated with additional details since it was sent to families last week.

If you determine full time distance learning through LinK12 Lakeville is the right choice for your student(s) for the start of the school year, you can enroll your student by completing this LinK12 Registration Form. Again, we ask that you please register by Friday, August 21. Once you complete the online form your student(s) is/are officially enrolled and your registration is confirmed. LinK12 Lakeville administration will be sending you additional information about your student’s schedule, orientation, device pick-up and more in late August.
