Volunteers needed for Ready, Set, Achieve!

If you enjoy handing out school supplies and making students smile, we have the perfect opportunity for you! On August 23, Lakeville Area Public Schools is hosting the annual Ready, Set, Achieve! school readiness event, and we’re seeking volunteers. There are many volunteer opportunities available for both adults and kids (age 12+) beginning August 16 and leading up to the day of the event.

Ready, Set, Achieve! is a community-driven program dedicated to providing school supplies, backpacks, clothing, haircuts, and community services to Lakeville Area students in need. Thanks to this program and powered by the generosity of our fantastic community, hundreds of Lakeville Area students each year get the support they need to start the back-to-school season off right. You can read more about Ready, Set, Achieve! here: https://bit.ly/2mbyyki.

This vital service is possible because of the support of people like you, so please take a minute to check out our volunteer job descriptions and sign up.

If you are not able to volunteer but would still like to help this important cause, consider donating new school supplies at Crystal Lake Education Center or make a monetary contribution. Questions about donations? Please contact Early Childhood & Family Education Program Manager Julie Ritter at julie.ritter@isd194.org or 952-232-2000.

Thanks for all you do to support Lakeville Area students and families!
