Lakeville Area Swimmers Set Records with Top-10 Finishes

Swimming & Diving Highlights


  • Lakeville North’s 200-yard medley team finished seventh and set a new school record.
  • Lakeville North’s 200-yard freestyle relay team finished third in the state with All American consideration time.
  • Lakeville South diver Keegan Rien-Melin qualified for the state meet Friday, March 1 and was selected Section 1AA Diver of the Year. He finished 12th in state in 1-meter diving.
  • Lakeville North swimmer Andrew Trepanier claimed the individual state championship in the 100-yard butterfly with a new school record and other top-10 finishes, including a school record and second-place overall finish in the 50-yard freestyle.
  • Lakeville North swimmer Zack Upham finished 10th in the 100-yard backstroke.
  • Lakeville South diving coach Derek Moulton was honored as Diving Coach of the Year for Section 1AA.
