Enrolling Your Child

New enrollment for K-12 students takes place at the District Office located at 17630 Juniper Path, Suite A, Lakeville. Enrollment packets are available at our office or can be downloaded from our website. Because some forms require signatures, parents and guardians are asked to return all completed forms to the District Office. Learn more …

Busing

Lakeville Area Schools bus transportation is provided by Schmitty and Sons Bus Company in Lakeville. Busing is provided to students who live outside of .8 miles for Elementary (grades K-5) and 2 miles for Secondary (grades 6-12) or live in a designated safety zone. All students living within the .8 miles for Elementary and 2 miles for Secondary have the option to pay for a bus. To see what transportation zone your address is located in, please view the School Attendance Area Finder.

Free and Reduced Meal Application

Students approved for meal benefits can receive one free breakfast meal and one lunch meal daily. Extra items, such as ala carte items, an extra milk, or milk with lunch from home are not free and the student must have money in their account or cash to purchase these items. If you think you may qualify or are interested in applying for Free or Reduced Price meal benefits, you can fill out an Application for Educational Benefits.  Students who qualify for free or reduced meals may also qualify to receive discounted fees for other district expenses such as bussing or activities.
