Lakeville Area Public Schools is collecting school supplies and other donations for students in need through the summer, and we need the community’s help.
The annual Ready, Set, Achieve! event equips K-12 families in need with supplies to send their children back to school ready for learning come fall. The event provides essential supplies, haircuts, backpacks, clothing, and spirit wear donated from the Lakeville Area community.
Since 2014 this vital event has served over 2,500 students, and offered assistance to families prior to fall open houses through community donations. Each year we anticipate over 500 students.
As you are shopping for school supplies, please consider donating supplies in support of another Lakeville Area student through the Ready, Set, Achieve! event. You can download a helpful informational flyer here.
Donated items needed:
New backpacks, supplies (no.2 pencils, pens (black, blue red), glue, highlighters, 24ct. crayons, 8-10 ct. markers, dry erase markers, 8-10ct. colored pencils, pocket folders (red, yellow, green, blue and purple), rulers, scissors, single subject notebooks, erasers, 3 ring binders, book covers, TI 30 calculators, graphing calculators, headphones, flash drives), spirit wear, new clothing, winter coats, elementary age snow pants/boots, gloves/mittens, winter hats, and monetary support.

Donated items for Ready, Set, Achieve! can be dropped off at the donation box located at Crystal Lake Education Center located at 16250 Ipava Ave. West, Lakeville. Hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
